Well, so much for posting at least every Tuesday eh?
I did take pictures for every Tuesday except this past one. I had a bad week and just didn't need the extra crap of seeing that I gained. I mean, maybe I lost, but I didn't feel like risking it. I did weigh myself this morning though (no picture however, camera's at work), and I was at 207.4, so I've lost a few pounds at least.
I've decided that I do need to make a goal, without one I seem to just be floating along, and then if I do mess up I think it's ok since I don't have to be anywhere in a hurry.
Here's my goals for January 8:
1. Blog at least once a week
2. Increase my exercise
3. Get down to 180
And my mini goals for this week
1. Eat 3 meals a day, plus a snack, stay below 1800 calories
2. Exercise at least once
You'd think I'd have more of an update since I was gone for weeks, but I really just worked. I mean honestly I have a good excuse for not updating; in two weeks I worked 140 hours...that's a whole extra week and a half worth of hours. I was exhausted to say the least.
Which reminds me, still exhausted, so I guess I'm off to bed.

Day One
My official starting weight is 210.4. Not as bad as I expected honestly, I was hovering around 206-208 before I went on vacation on Aug. 22nd and I'm one of those people who has hard time not thinking "Oh, I'm on vacation, I'm going to eat anything and everything I can, cause you know...it's vacation". Only gaining 2-4lbs is fantastic if you ask me, I've gained 15lbs in a vacation the same length before so this is seriously awesome, I can handle that. Sure no gain would be better, but I'm taking what I can get at this point.
As promised, my goals for this week:
1. Just generally work on eating healthier. Try to make at least 75% of what I eat healthy, and avoid any binges.
2. Exercise for 30 minutes 3 times.
On a non-weightloss note, work was as busy as I thought it would be. My first official day back from vacation I worked 10 hours, and I technically worked a couple hours yesterday when I was still supposed to be on vacation. There was a big event at work today, which went over pretty well, but something had happened earlier in the day that kinda rained on the parade a bit, which definetely sucked, but from what I've heard it didn't mess too much up.

Every Blog Has A Beginning
I do it to myself everytime. I see pictures, or look in the mirror, or just feel generally unhappy with how I look or feel and I decide I'm going to lose weight. This isn't the bad part, I do need to lose weight, I'm currently considered obese. It's that I sit down and I start planning and adding up numbers, trying to decide what number I'll be happy with on the scale, and how fast I can get there if I go full speed ahead, and how fast I can get there if I'm more realistic...and there's where I set myself up for a downfall. I make these goals and then when I haven't made that goal number by a certain date I get pissed off and give up, and then gain it all back. I'm not doing that this time. I'm going to make my only weight goal be that I lose at least something every week. I'm aiming for 2-3lbs every week, but ya know what, so long as I'm not gaining I'm going to be happy with that.
So here's what we have to look forward to.
Every Tuesday I'm going to:
1. Post my weight with a picture of the number on the scale (hopefully I'm awake enough when I weigh myself in the morning to remember to do this)
2. Post a new small goal for both food and exercise
I'm trying to make this as basic as possible, the more complicated things get the less likely I am to do it.
I'll try to post most days with how I'm doing on my goals, but we'll see how that goes. September tends to be a ridiculously busy month at work, and this year looks like it's going to be even worse, so I guess we'll just see how it goes. At the very least I'm going to post once a week (and if anyone's reading this, hold me to it so I don't fall off the wagon!)
